There is a setting buried in the configurations I previously played with and now I cannot find it. It's not related to Text messages, but a system notification configuration for how long the notification/message/ info is displayed. One example would be the volume screen that appears. The configuration I changed set this 'display' for 10 seconds and that is way too long! I've looked long and hard but cannot find it. Other messages like from the web browser switching from landscape may display an info message.
I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. Press the volume button, screen appears on my phone 10 seconds. I am trying to find that configuration to change it back to 3-5 seconds.
