Has anybody else lost the functionality of the middle of their phone when it's open to the full screen since the update? I think I now I have to change to a iPhone. Is all I've heard is bad things since the update to any of the Samsung phones not just the fold.

@smil Have you ran the diagnostics in Samsung Members app -> Support?

I'm guessing that you will need to contact Samsung Support.

For immediate assistance, one option is to use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send text. This will open up live troubleshooting.

Another option is to contact Samsung support via https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/

@smil I have the Fold 7 and don't have any issues with the update. What phone do you have and what exactly is the issue that you are having?

Sorry you're experiencing this.

Try following the Best practices after an update guide. The issue may or may not be software related. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871?src=Shar...

If this doesn't resolve the issue, run diagnostics in the support tab of this app.

You may need to visit a certified Samsung repair center to fully diagnose the issue.
Find one near you: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

If your device is within the limited one year warranty period, you should be eligible for a warranty repair if needed.

Switching mobile platforms entirely is a pretty drastic response to a single issue with a device in an emergent form factor.

If you still find yourself nervous or unhappy with your foldable after your issue is resolved, you may consider trading in for a phone with a more traditional form factor. I personally traded my Flip5 for an S24+ and it was a substantially easier process than switching to iOS would have been.

I can personally assure you I have had no issues with my S series phone since updating, nor have millions of other users. Samsung devices are used all over the world every day without issue.
