Is it a way to pre-order the ultra ( Z fold 7) by trading the S25/ ultra? I only see the option of S24/ ultra only. Just wondering if anyone who wanted to trade in the S25/ ultra will be able to have the deal as well.
This is an issue I have with my order of the Fold 7, placed 7/11/25, but as of 7/18/25 it has not been shipped yet. On July 17, 2025, the same device was offered with a better promotion. I immediately contacted support and requested to either cancel my existing order since it hasn't been shipped yet despite 7 days ago, or re-credit me the difference in price. I was told that a request to be refunded to me for the difference will be escalated to Samsung. I was under the impression and assumed that fixed the matter and a recredit was on the way but I was wrong. Today, 7/18, I received an email denying the request.
The order has not yet shipped. My research showed that other customers in the same situation have received such recredits. If they won't let me cancel my order then at least refund me the price difference. That isn't expecting too much? If this item was sold to me from an actual store and it hasn't been shipped 7 days later, I have no doubt if I go there to cancel the order it would be no issue. So why is it just because the order was placed online through Samsung?
I said to Samsung support that I kindly request they honor what I felt was communicated to me, or alternatively, allows me to cancel the order before shipment. I believe this would reflect good customer service and maintain trust. I put my good faith that Samsung do what they think is right in this case.
After receiving the refund denial, I resent the issue to president@sea.samsung.com as well. I am waiting for hopefully a positive response. Either way, this hasn't inspired me with too much confidence in how Samsung has dealt with the matter so far.
Hey all, I'm having an absolute battle with samsung support right now and would like your opinions on the matter.
So I pre ordered the new zfold 7 coming out the day it went live. All in all, the total cost was $999.99 after trade in and the pre order credit. I got a notification the other day saying i could save up to x amount of money if I pre order. The number seemed bigger than before so I made the EXACT same order I first did and it was only 899.99, $100 cheaper than what I originally ordered it at.
So of course I contact support to try and get a refund for the extra $100 instead of canceling and re ordering. The first support guy I talked said they can do it, but I got an email the next day from someone else saying they can't refund me. Then it went back and forth for the next couple days and each time they contacted me, it was a different excuse of why they can't refund me anything.
The most recent email said they can't refund because the promotion happened a couple days after my order and it isn't valid. For starters idk why it would matter because its still in the pre order phase but whatever.
On their website they have samsung price promise where the caption is "find it cheaper within 30 days on samsung.com and we'll refund the difference"
Please let me know your thoughts on this, because I think its ridiculous.
Dude they are absolutely horrible. Same thing here so then I placed a second order to get the extra 100 off and asked them to cancel my first order. Low and behold supposedly they were unable to cancel the first order. And hour later and no solution other than me having to take the time to send the order back when I receive it. Everytime I do this i have issues. Samsung Support is by far the worst I've dealt with
