Secure Folder requires lock screen protection in order to access feature

I have a settings question... This has been a back and forth thing for me. I used to be able to have my Secure Folder password protected without having to have any kind of Lock Screen Security. Get a new device, now I need Lock Screen security. My last two devices, I've been able to have my Secure Folder password protected without Lock Screen Wecurity. Just got the Fold 7 and now I need Lock Screen security again. How can I go back to just have it password protected without Lock Screen Security? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

No workarounds. They have to fix. Documentsui is controlled by the system account And is double locked down by Knox. I'm fairly tech savy and still was dumb enough to click reflection test trying to troubleshoot and wiped my entire secure folder. With all files gone that I've acquired since I got my fold in Jan 2024. Sucks so bad. Anyway they are probably refusing to do anything because they have a new announcement tomorrow. Where they will announce some new decently good hardware and ruin it with privacy invading AI.

After the latest update, Secure Folder is forcing Set Secure Screen Lock! I already have a PIN for Secure Folder now I have to have for the phone too! Why do I need a phone Pin when the Folder already has one? Ridiculous and annoying! Is there any way to turn that off for the love of God?

It is not possible to turn off the secure screen lock for Secure Folder, as it is a mandatory security feature that cannot be disabled after the latest updates.

So has Samsung fixed this issue? Every browser I have tried to use in the secure folder is not secure. What's the fix for this problem since the update? Tell my Samsung is working on thus fix.

Samsung needs to add a disable option. I don't like having to enter a pin code to Secure Folder cause it also locks the lock screen. I prefer swiping.

The "lock when exiting" feature is missing from the Secure Folder. After I open once it can be opened at any time. This needs to be brought back.

Will this option be added back in? This is definitely a downgrade in the security of the secure folder.

Unknown if it will be added back since the Secure Folder will automatically lock if you turn off your screen.

It's always had the option to lock when the screen turns off. So the other option was just removed.
