I have a settings question... This has been a back and forth thing for me. I used to be able to have my Secure Folder password protected without having to have any kind of Lock Screen Security. Get a new device, now I need Lock Screen security. My last two devices, I've been able to have my Secure Folder password protected without Lock Screen Wecurity. Just got the Fold 7 and now I need Lock Screen security again. How can I go back to just have it password protected without Lock Screen Security? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
As "Oxford" user wrote in page 13: "Best thing for everyone to do, go to the main page of the members app, click on support, and then move down to send feedback and express your frustrations there. Maybe, just maybe, if enough people complain, maybe it has a chance of returning."
I did it a few days ago, complaining and suggesting that this mandatory "double security" should be **optional** instead of mandatory. They answered a couple of days later saying what we all already know..."Samsung did it because of enforcing customer data security blah, blah, blah,...".
I answered to their answer asking for this "double security" again to be **optional**, stating that we, samsung phone users are adult people responsible of our own decisions, old enough to be treated as adults, not as kids who need parental protection and guidance...but they have not answered to my answer yet.
I really encourage all of you to follow the procedure explained by "Oxford" user in page 13 of this thread, and communicate your displeasure with this absurd "double security" being mandatory, and request they update the system to make it **optional**. Perhaps, only perhaps, they could take it into consideration if they receive a lot of complains...
