How do I reset my photo gallery?

All of a sudden, my photo gallery is showing my photos only in categories: by people, locations, documents and tags. I did not change my settings and I do not see a way to change the view of the gallery. Does anyone know how to change the view back to the regular gallery view?

That's strange you should have the menu bar across the bottom

Right. I don't have the back arrow at the top, nor does it show any menu options at the bottom. This really sucks! Do you think it has to do with being in the One UI 8 beta program?

Ok try this you need to go into gallery settings but since you don't have the menu bar follow my screenshots. Recents apps click on the gallery icon then app settings

Well I **bleep** it up somehow! At first I followed along with your screenshots and I saw Galaxy labs, so I went in there and I started clicking around and now Galaxy Labs no longer shows up as an option. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Its ok you just turned off labs. Easy fix go back into settings About Gallery and keep tapping the Version number until labs is enabled

I finally got my regular photo album view back! I went into the gallery settings and I pressed "force stop." That seem to be the magic trick. Thank you so much for the trouble shooting tips! I really appreciate the time you took to help me. 😊

Glad you were able to get it back if you toggle on that one settings in labs the menu will be on that one screen you had. And sorry for the delay in replying my cat decided to claw me and I cut his nails
