I had the exact same issue on a Galaxy Z fold 7 that I've had for less than a month. Samsung is refusing to repair it since they claim I damaged it, and Samsung Care+ wants to charge me $99 even though this is clearly a manufacturing defect. If I can't get it resolved I will just ask my credit card company for a chargeback and maybe get the Google Pixel phone instead...at least when I had that foldable fail in less than a year, Google replaced it under warranty.
