Fold & Flip PhonesThe LED could have burned out - it's rare but can happen. How often do you use the flashlight and keep it on? As @Oxford mentioned, you can do a diagnostic on the phone and the flashlight specifically, but it's going to tell you what you already know, not why. You will probably have to have the LED replaced.

Fold & Flip PhonesHello JCLariat, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with the camera flash and flashlight no longer working.
@Oxford's suggestion is perfect for testing the hardware in the phone.
Since you stated you dropped the phone, it is possible the drop dislocated the cable for the flash.
It is recommended to have the phone evaluated by an authorized service location. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S.: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html.
If you purchased a Samsung Premium Care or Care+ membership with your device, this plan does cover physical damages. You can find more information about this plan here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/samsung-care-plus/
