Fold & Flip PhonesThis is not a request from Samsung for support, this is to warn people that you will not get support from them if your phone stops working.
Last week I made this same post and it was pulled down because I was told I should go to samsung directly for support, I already tried that and was told to get lost. I'm also not interested in people who know nothing about me or my phone telling me why I'm to blame for my phone breaking, I'm an honest man making honest comments about my experience with my phone. You're entitled to your opinion that Samsung make good products, I actually think they make great products, but their support in the U.S is lackluster and that's being generous.
Some time in September my Galaxy Z Flip 6's screen stopped working, I was out at an event with some friends and the phone worked fine, I used it to take pictures with no issues, I got home and flipped the phone open to check my messages and found the internal screen just didn't work, I did some basic troubleshooting, restarting the phone and such and found the screen would not turn on, at one point I got a rainbow screen but only once and the screen has never worked again.
The next day I jumped onto Samsung.com and had a chat with someone who told me to take the phone to the closest repair store, I drove 30 minutes to be told the repair was over $300 because the phone was out of warranty, upset that my phone of less than a year was out of warranty and already broken I rejected the repaid and went home, I purchased another phone online and went about my life.
On a limb I decided to try complaining to Samsung about how unhappy I was at the service I was getting, I reached out again and was told that my phone was in fact not out of warranty and that the repair rejection was probably because I had damaged the screen with water or something else, I was told that since the phone was in warranty I could send it to Samsung and they would repair it.
I mailed the phone to Samsung and they immediately told me that the warranty was void because of damage to the phone, I refused the repair again as there was no damage to my phone and I had done nothing to damage the screen. When I got the phone back from Samsung they had kindly pointed out the tiny little scratch marks on my phone that had voided my warranty. All of the marks are very small, one scratch on the corner of the device where it was dropped (it was dropped many months ago and worked fine, if such a small mark destroys the inside of the phone then you shouldn't buy these phones), some of the marks are so small you have to shift the phone in the right light to see them, none of the marks are near the screen, all are on the back or sides of the device and there is no damage to the screen.
Once again, to avoid this message from being deleted by Samsung, I'm not looking for assistance from Samsung, I'm warning people that Samsung will void your warranty as soon as you try to claim it.

Fold & Flip PhonesWhile foldable screens are more durable than ever before, they are still an emergent form factor and are more prone to mechanical failure than traditional slab phones.
To piggyback on @Mujibar's comment, I am not aware of any OEM that will cover screen failures unless it can be proven without a shadow of a doubt that it was a manufacturer defect and that no drop or scratch ever occurred, whatsoever, no matter how minor. This seems to be an unfortunate reality of the industry at large, not specific to Samsung.

Fold & Flip PhonesI told him that in his last post (the one he says was removed). He doesn't believe that dropping the phone even once can cause damage that is not evident til later. He claims Samsung never even opened the phone (I don't know how he knows that), and I told him they didn't have to. If they ran a diagnostic, they read the drop meter.
