Do not disturb settings keeps resetting daily on fold 7

I have a fold 7 like the title says, do not disturb works but only issue is it keeps changing from favorite contacts allowed and repeat callers and only alarms back to none for calls and messages and media turns on. The schedule i have works I just have to keep changing the settings for it almost daily. Been trying to scroll through to see if this issue has been addressed. Lots of issues with alert going through that shouldn't. Any help is appreciated.

The modes and routines were deleted already. On the fold 4 I had a schedule set so that when I was putting my fob down to sleep after reading him stories I could play some games because the media from games would be off even with the games sound on from game hub. Now all routines are off even though they worked on the fold 4 with the same UI version. The routines make sense. Under modes and routines in settings, they have been deleted for a few weeks. Only place I know of that has routines. Now what happens is i see dnd kick on at 9pm like it should I play a game and I hear sound. Look in settings and media and alarms are allowed. I turn off media and game sound instantly goes away. Seems like it stays for a day or two then settings go back to allow media and calls and messages keep going back to none instead of favorites. Appreciating all the tips and suggestions

The game sounds are media. you don't need to turn media off during DND, as that is not the same as notifications and doesn't play unless the user starts it. If you use media as an alarm sound, that won't play either unless you allow media.

I have had this problem since I got the phone. Glad to see it's not only me. I don't have any modes or routines running but it is very annoying! The DND kicks in at 11.30 till 6am. I only want to get calls and messages from my contacts. When it's 11.30 media is still working and  all my fave contacts have disappeared from calls and messages. I thought it was because I was still on the phone at the time but it makes no difference. I've seen people reporting this on reddit too. Will log a report with the link someone gave earlier. I didn't have this problem with the Samsung  s24 ultra.

When it says "restrict media" it does not mean that media will cease to play/work when DND is on if *you* are the  one to turn it on.  It only means that you wouldn't get notifications about it or, I believe, not get your alarm if you use media to wake up - unless you let it through.  I have no explanation as to why, for some people, their exceptions disappear.  BTW, DND is a mode.  Since only one mode is allowed at a time, if you turn on sleep mode while DND is on, you are likely negating the settings of your pre-set DND.  Each instance of DND within a mode can be configures separately for different scenarios.  The instance of DND in Sleep Mode has no exceptions by default (the idea is so you can sleep undisturbed - you have to go into the DND within sleep mode and configure your exceptions.  In other words, do not turn on DND and then turn on sleep mode (if you use it).  Turn on Sleep Mode only and configure the DND within sleep mode with your exceptions.  You can also just delete DND from sleep mode and turn on your pre-configured DND.  Either way, it should work as it's supposed to.

What do not disturb essentially does, is mute all volume controls on your phone.  Your notifications still appear, calls get directed to voicemail.  You don't miss anything, you just won't hear them to be disturbed when you don't want to be.

I have this exact same problem with my S23 Ultra.
All of a sudden, DND mutes media and I have to reset it everyday.
So annoying!

I have had an issue with DND since the last update. It no longer works and I have to turn it on and off manually. I dont use any routines so I know it is not causing this to happen.
