"Hello, I want to report an issue that is seriously affecting my experience with my Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Fold 6.
Since installing the One UI 8 update on my Fold 6, the earbuds have started to malfunction: the Bluetooth connection frequently drops, the Buds controls no longer respond properly, and the integration with the Wearable app and system settings has become confusing.
I have tried restarting and resetting the Buds, as well as updating the Wearable app, but the problem remains.
I urgently request support to solve this fault, as my user experience has suffered significantly since the update.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand the impact updating our phones can have on our other devices. In order to better assist you and clarify, are you using the buds through the phones settings now?

Yes , but Every time I go to use it, I must place it on base, act the Bluetooth for pairing, and on the cell phone fold 6 touch where it says bud3 so that it activates

Since the 8.0 update on 10/16 that I received, Bluetooth on my Galaxy Z Fold 6 has become completely unstable. Devices can connect, but it is temporary, and intermittently will disconnect from my phone. This includes a galaxy watch ultra, buds 3, logitech bluetooth keyboard, bluetooth speakers, my car's bluetooth connection, and anything else so far as I have seen.

I have attempted to reset connections, then I factory reset my phone, and finally, I have cleared the system cache via the recovery menu, but the issue still persists. It has made bluetooth effectively unusable, because many times, the devices will not reconnect right away. All of these functions were working prior to the update yesterday.

OMG I thought it was just me. It is severely affecting the battery on my watch. I stopped using my buds completely bc they just go through a constant disconnect/reconnect cycle. So frustrating!!

Definitely not just you. I had Ubreakifix do a clean install of my firmware yesterday, and nope. Still trashed.
Then, the support tech via the chat tried to gaslight me "It might be that your devices aren't compatible with bluetooth on 8.0"
Again, two of my affected devices are a samsung galaxy watch ultra and buds 3 (both of which I bought with my phone and were working pre-update to 8.0).
I worry about all the people out there that BELIEVE their bluetooth devices are suddenly incompatible, and "guess that's just the way it is".
So frustrating.

Update... I got an update yesterday morning 10/29 and installed it. For the rest of the day, everything was back to normal. Then this morning, the issue was back! 😞

Same issue for me on Z Fold 6. As soon as I updated to One UI 8.0, bluetooth became critically unstable. No devices will stay connected. They keep dropping and reconnecting every few seconds. This is the same for both previously paired and new devices. It is also the same across all Bluetooth devices, including my Samsung Galaxy Buds3.
