Do Not Disturb gets reset automatically

I have a Galaxy 7 fold. Ever since I got it, the contacts I add as an exception to the Do Not Disturb (list of people who can reach me even if Do Not Disturb is turned ON) gets cleared on its own. I have added contacts multiple times and after a couple of days, the list gets cleared. I have people with medical conditions who have to be able to reach me at all times. I have missed some important calls due to this issue. I did not have this issue with my Galaxy Fold 5.  Given Galaxy 7 Fold is your most premium phone I request Samsung to fix this issue immediately...

I offered this suggestion for someone in the same situation the other day.  I do not know if they tried it and it helped, but you can try it.  Instead of Do Not disturb, use the following two routines: Essentially they do what DND does.  Oh, and do put in an error report.  You are not the only one with this issue.

I am not sure how you are trying to do this but I have the S25+ on BETA 6 and I use DND every night. All you have to do is make the contacts you want to be able to reach you with DND turned on is to assign them as a favorite in your contacts list. Then within the DND settings do not add any contacts in a list. Just look under the "also allow" portion and for "Calls" select "favorite contacts only". Under "messages" you can do the same if you want. This is the way that it works for me!

The OP is saying that DND is not currently working for them.  They know how to configure DND, as by now, does everyone. This issue  is not isolated to them, many people are reporting it with certain devices.

 All DND does is mute your phone, which is what the routine will do.  It's likely the second routine will work even with DND on, but I haven't tried it because my version of DND still works, and even the people I do allow through aren't calling me in the middle of the night at this time. There are many ways up a mountain, and if DND does not work for someone at this time, then a routine would be their best bet.

It works fine on my S25 ultra just does not work on my Fold 7.  I got the ultra after the fold 7.

My dnd keeps resetting no matter how I do it (favorites only or adding contacts. ) this is ridiculous. How has this not been corrected???

I'm having the same issue with Do Not Disturb on Galaxy Z Fold 7 I have favorite calls and messages, media sound and a few apps allowed including alarms for a glucose monitor and do not disturb randomly silences EVERYTHING

Just started having this issue randomly:

Do Not Disturb turns on with a single tap, fully. It doesn't Ask Every Time for how long, which is usually until my next alarms, but every time my phone restarts I have to enable the Ask Every Time option on the Do Not Disturb menu.

Literally just started doing that out of nowhere. I'm guessing they forced a OTA update.
