Can only keep one app open in Recent Apps

I have a Z Flip 5, Android 14, One UI 6.0

It seems that in recent apps I can only keep one app open. Once I do, the keep open option is greyed out on other apps.

Is this correct?

Unfortunately, this is correct. We used to be able to keep more than one app one (I think it was 3?) but this was changed a while ago with the transition to the new OS.
