Bought a Brand New Flip 6 that overheats and screen is coming up not the protector the screen. Called Samsung and was basically told to screw off mind you I have owned every Samsung flagship for the past 15 years and never had a complaint I also have their bogus insurance they offer. I was on the phone for 1 hours and 45 mins was out on hold then hung up on. I will sell my Flip 6 and never buy another Samsung device again I know I am only one person but I do have a pretty good following on Instagram Facebook and X so I will share my experience there in hopes no one else goes through this . Shame on you Samsung

Hello StoneyRoads, Thank you for being part of the Community, and for reaching out. We understand how upsetting it is for the screen to be lifting and overheating.

Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Give this link a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/ You can also try clearing the cache partition of the phone.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
  3. When the green Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
  4. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  5. Press Side key to select.
  6. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Side key to select.
  7. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  8. Press the Side key to restart the device.

Since you also have the screen lifting, we recommend having the phone reparied. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair:  https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/ or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

If you purchased a Samsung Premium Care or Care+ membership with your device, this plan does cover repairs outside of the warranty. You can find more information about this plan here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/samsung-care-plus/
