Modern computers usually have the installation media on a hidden partition (recovery partition).  One is normally supposed to transfer this media to an external device/flash drive to preserve it should anything happen to the hard drive itself.  If you do not have the installation media, you can likely request it from Samsung or download it from the website.  You may have to bite the bullet and take it to either Geek Squad or one of the certified Samsung service centers.  Since this is user error, there may be a charge.

You should be able to go back to a restore point before the kids started playing with your computer

I was exploring the device and left it open I bought a Samsung laptop because I was interested to see what the fuss was about I love the phones and TVs (washer dryer too).  Should i check myself into Samsung prison?

He was just asking because the bios is not that easily accessible, even by people who know how to access it, so the likelihood of children getting there by accident is slight.

Doing some digging on Google, found out it means that your computer did what seems to be a process to wipe any malicious pieces of corrupted data from your drive. This basically means that your OS was wiped clean. The only logical thing to do is to just reinstall windows from a USB drive
