ComputersHi,
I have a Samsung laptop that was working fine before, but recently it has become very slow.
This started right after I downloaded a heavy game from a unsecured website.
Now even normal tasks like browsing, opening apps, and light gaming feel laggy.
I want to know if this issue is related to the game being too heavy for my Samsung laptop, or if I should look into other things like updating drivers, checking for viruses, or reinstalling Windows.
Has anyone else experienced this with their Samsung device? Any advice would be really helpful.
Thanks!

ComputersWhy don't you try uninstalling the game and seeing if things improve? If they improve, you have your answer - it's the game. If the game has certain memory requirements, or takes up a lot of drive space when you have little to spare, things will slow down. Although the memory requirements not being adequate shouldn't affect anything if the game is not active. However, if the size of the game leaves you with inadequate drive space remaining for your other apps to work properly, that is an issue. You need to have at least 10% free drive space for normal operations. If drive space is the issue, and you really want the game, see what you can do to clean up your drive, or consider either buying a secondary drive or external drive to run the game off of.
