ComputersI purchased a Galaxy Book Pro on Tuesday from my local Best Buy in the US (ship to store). When I registered it with Samsung on their website (US), it's showing that I do not have a warranty, can't buy a care+ package and to go to the Samsung country site where I bought it.
I started a chat with Samsung, and it was decidedly unhelpful.
Is Best Buy selling grey market goods (highly unlikely). Or is Samsung selling Best Buy grey market goods and refusing to back it with their warranty?

ComputersIt is entirely possible that BB sent you a model for the wrong region. You would have to look at the packaging and note the model number. Also have a look at the description of the product you purchased, and make sure it did not say it was, say, a Latin American version. If you are still in the return period, return it to BB. Personally, I would have returned it the minute after I could not register it.

ComputersModel number is NP960xha-kg3US, printed on the bottom cover of the notebook. I don't have the box with me, but I'm guessing the US in the model number is for the US model.
I'd rather keep it if I can get this straightened out. It took 2 weeks to ship to store. I don't want to have it shipped because I'm not home all day and can't sign for it. I'd like someone at samsung to get to the bottom of it and get it registered properly. I really don't want to have to return it to best buy, though if I do I won't be getting another samsung product.

ComputersThat certainly appears to be a US model number, I'd do as the moderator says below and contact the proper Samsung support. It's possible the support agent you spoke to was not in the right unit.
If you are still in the return period, I'd still return it and then order it directly from Samsung. I believe you can still have it shipped from Samsung to the store (or any other location where it can be signed for and secured).
