Samsung 990 Evo Plus is not detected as genuine in the Magician 8.3.2, but was in 8.2

Am I missing something?  Where does it say not genuine?  It lists all the drive details and sees the drive, lists it by name, so how would it not be genuine?  Do you have reason to believe it's not genuine? This is what my Magician says for my drive.  Nowhere does it say genuine or not genuine.

It seems your SSD is working fine, however if you are looking for the SSD serial number to show the word "genuine" under the serial number in Samsung Magician, then you might need to check if Magician has a good connection to the internet and that windows security is not stopping Magician from authenticating the serial number with Samsung servers. 

In some cases, you can try to add Samsung Magician to the "controlled Folder Access" option in Windows security settings, so that your windows security knows Samsung Magician is safe. Then try restarting your PC and check Magician again. Worst case, if you really want to change this, you can try to turn off all security.
