When pre-ordering Galaxy Book S there are two options. Sprint and Verizon. Not sure what these options refer to. Does this mean the device is locked to an operator? Is it possible to use Galaxy Book S with a different operator than the one chosen at pre-order?

ComputersI believe this belongs to a different thread.
The Windows version is Windows 10 Home which doesn't include BitLocker. I haven't tried to upgrade to Pro. I used the following encryption method in Home edition: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-enable-device-encryption-windows-10-home

ComputersHi,
Can you advise exactily what "T-Mobile Sim card" to buy? A link or site where I can purchase one. I inquired Samsung.com and they said Book S Verizon is carrier specific and I will have to go thru Verizon in order to have LTE data.
Thank you.

Computers
Verizon usually unlocks devices 60 days after purchase. Every time I buy a device from them, they say 60 days after the purchase, your device will be unlocked.
