Did a reinstall of Windows using a "Reset this PC" option in Win 11.
Every Intel and Windows Driver is totally up to date.
I see a "SAMSUNG MODE" and a "Balanced" power plan. I have checked using the Win 11 and old Control Panel (including advanced power options) and EVERYTHING matches and I setup the same on both power plans in case they were fighting. That is:
On battery: 3 min to turn off display/10 min to sleep
Plugged In: 1 hour to turn off display/2 hour to sleep
Whatever happens my display turns off after 60 seconds! Regardless of what I set or select! Why? It is driving me up the wall to login after not touching my keyboard for just 1 minute... especially when plugged in.

ComputersI experience exactly the same problem - it's extremely frustrating. Have tried everything without success. Would be great if someone could help with a solution.

ComputersI am currently trying everything to stop this, I have a Galaxy Book 4 and it goes to rest no matter if I am reading or anything every 60 seconds if I don't use the touchpad. Apparently there was no answer to this issue whatsoever? Did you discover how to fix this?

ComputersNo I did not - it is REALLY annoying and makes the computer almost unusable with repeated logins whenever you glance away. I managed to do a workaround using PowerToys Awake app that will keep your PC awake for up to 2 hours at a time. However from a cybersecurity angle - force keeping your PC open is a MAJOR security policy issue. I wish they would do something. It is obviously repeatable (you have the same issue)... it is a result of THEIR software build and they are not taking any accountability.
I am the cybersecurity officer for my company and this experience means I will not allow any more Samsung laptops to be purchased; I prefer to work with manufacturers that care about enterprise security better!

ComputersI use another workaround for this frustrating problem: I have noticed that when in presentation mode, the pc will not go off after the 60 secs. So, I start a dummy PP presentation to keep my laptop awake. I don't know if that is more safe in terms of cybersecurity, but at least a more simple solution. However, the laptop will stay awake as long as you have the presentation open so you "manually" have to put it in sleep mode by closing the presentation mode or close the lid.
I fully agree re Samsung laptops and lack of support. I have always been a fan and this is not my first Samsung, but probably the last 😒
