Was wondering why? And if there's anyone who would explain to me why Samsung has a system app (samsung.android.smartface) installed on my phone that is accessing turning on and using this camera sometimes several hundreds of times daily? 👀

@Anonymous I believe that is the service that recognizes your face to unlock the screen and keep the screen active when you are looking at it.

You might want to turn off Settings -> Advanced features -> Motions and gestures -> Keep screen on while viewing

Also turn off Settings -> Biometrics and security -> Face recognition -> Face unlock

You know you're probably right?
It just seemed to me like the number of times it was accessed and used in comparison to the actual number of times I did use the phone and the camera?
Were a little bit excessive...👀
