If these are media files you placed on the phone, they have to be in the root folders of ringtones, or Notifications before they will appear to be set as a notification or ringtone.
Thank you for your quick responses but where would they be? I've looked in the folders but could not find them. These sounds had a red line next to them. When it is selected, the sound goes away. I haven't touched it
Hello, It can be puzzling when some of the notification sounds are removed. When you look under Settings>Sounds and vibration and select Notification sound, there will categories. Under the category Custom, sounds do have a line next to them. Selecting the line removes the tones from the phone. There is not an option to restore the sounds.
