A Series & Other MobileI was deleting apps off my phone to make space. I think I deleted something I needed for the smartview to work, but don't know what app, because now it won't play on my TV.

A Series & Other MobileYou should not have been able to delete/uninstall any app necessary for Smart View to Work. However, you can do a factory reset and then restore your backup. And then you can begin the process of mindfully uninstalling apps you no longer need.
Are you getting an error message when you try to connect with Smart VIew, or is it just doing nothing?

A Series & Other MobileSince Smart VIew is part of the system. I really don't think it would have allowed you to uninstall any app necessary for it to work. Try clearing the phone's cache partition and see if that helps. If it does not, you can put in an error report and wait to see if there's a resolution or you can make sure you have a current backup of your phone and your important data, and then do a factory reset. This will bring back any necessary files that may have been deleted. If you restore your backup, it will also bring back your apps and settings. It may also bring back those apps you uninstalled if your phone has not backed up since the deletion. Since resetting the phone gives you a clean, complete operating system, all your necessary files for Smart Switch should be there. Restoring your backup, even with the deleted apps, will not make them disappear. Your choice what to do.
