A Series & Other MobileI never use pro mode for my picture taking, because the point and shoot works just fine for my needs. However, i was experimenting the other day and I noticed that in all modes (macro, photo, portrait, night, etc.) I have no problem with seeing things in the "viewfinder", i.e. on screen. However, once I enter pro mode, my phone screen goes completely black and nothing shows in the viewfinder when pointing to anything indoors (even in a brightly lit room. If I point it directly out my balcony window I can see the scenery, but once I turn back toward the inside, nothing. I don't recall this being the case prior to the OneUI7.0 update. I seem to recall it being much easier to change the color/light balance and other settings and to actually see stuff on the screen. Now I can't figure it out. Am I doing something wrong or is there a camera defect? Good thing I don't actually normally use the mode.
First pic is pointing toward my computer monitor, which is on. Second pic is pointing outside.

A Series & Other MobileOK. I think I may have figured it out. I had to tap on the shutter speed, (but didn't change it to auto). I just manually adjusted the shutter speed and I had a clear view of what was on my monitor in the proper colors, and then turned toward the window, and had to manually adjust it again so the colors were natural. I would have thought coloration was dictated by the white balance, not the shutter speed, but ok. Thanks @jayo08 for kind of pointing me in the right direction.

A Series & Other MobileI did try changing it to Auto with the same result. As you can see, I don't even have the same options as your photo shows. Is your phone an A series or an S series? I believe they have different camera settings.
