Separate folder to hide photos

So I recently transferred my phone to my new phone and I need a separate folder and I couldnt seem to find it. I just need something that I can just hide my photos off the gallery and into a folder and add my new photos to my gallery. Anyone have suggestions of what I should use?

Look for "Secure Folder" in your settings and turn it on.

The best way to hide your photos is to remove them from the phone to a computer or flash drive. If you need to hide them, why have them on the phone at all?

Because I had to transfer photos because I traded a phone.

You made it sound like you already hid the pics but couldnt remember where. Why would you want to hide them on a phone you traded?

I found out about secure folder but I wanted a folder in my gallery and put those photos into that folder. I just wanted to see if there is any folders or suggestion I can put

What I did was download Google files app,I'm able to use the "safe" in the app. Once inside the safe the media I put there is no longer available on any files,or gallery associated app.
