You can turn on biometrics to make it easier to unlock with a fingerprint. Are you trying to access your passwords or use payments? If you never set a pin for Samsung Wallet, Open Samsung Wallet, tap on the "all" tab and then tap on the 3 dot menu and select settings and then verification method.  If you have a fingerprint set, slide that on.  If you want to use the screen lock password (the phone lock password), slide that on.  If you want to set or change your pin for the wallet, choose change or set pin (I believe if you have not set a pin, you will get the set pin option). If you already have a pin, you will get the change pin option. You will have to know the current pin to change it. If there is no pin set, all you have to do is set it. If you see the change pin option, and can't set a new pin, just make sure the fingerprint and screen lock password option is on, and you should have no problem with Samsung Pass.  If, however, you are trying to use Samsung Wallet for payment, you will need either the PIN or fingerprint for verification.  I am not 100% sure, since I don't use a PIN to unlock my phone, but if you set a PIN on your phone, it might be the same PIN for the wallet, unless you change the wallet PIN.  As I said, if you are not using it for payments, it really doesn't matter much, except as an alternate method should the fingerprint scanner not work for some reason.
