Samsung Galaxy a15 glitches, runs slow, and freezes

I'm curious if anyone else is having issues with their samsung phone? Mine all of a sudden seems to glitch alot, it's also very slow, and freezes all the time! I've cleaned files, and such, it is up to date on any updates. I've deleted apps, I've changed my SD card out for a larger one, and I've bought more storage through Google even. Nothing has helped. It just started doing this a few weeks ago out of nowhere. Anyone know what is going on or why this is happening all a sudden? Thanks in advance!

@toshant How much free storage do you have on your device? You can go to Device care -> Storage to see. If the amount of storage is very low, this can affect the performance of your phone.

This has nothing to do micro SD storage space nor Google cloud space.

@toshant Having only 2.4 GB free could be the cause of the issues. It sounds like a lot but it is a very small percentage of your devices total storage.

Same thing is happening to me on my A15 5g. All of a sudden out of nowhere, slow and glitching. Freezes as well. I don't know why. I have lots of storage space.

Ever since I updated to One UI 7 it's been running fine. But to make my phone even snapper, I turned on developer options, went down to drawing and turned off the window animation scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scale. Now, you may want to turn it down to "Animation Scale .5x" instead of you like seeing the animations like when you update apps you'll see the progress circles move or screen transitions. Also what helps is Going to settings and scrolling down to accessibility, then tap on vision enhancements. Scroll down to Reduce animations and Reduce transparency and blur click them on. It will help your shade to pull down faster (Where you swipe down from the top of the screen to see your notifications and quick settings. All this is totally optional. But it helps. If you want to go back to the original state, Go back into developer options and turn each option mentioned beforehand back to 1x. And just go back to Settings, accessibility, visual enhancements and turn off Reduce animation and Reduce transparency and blur. Hope this helps. 😁👍✨

How do I get more storage on my A15?

@oceanlover Unfortunately there is no way to add storage to an A15.

No. My A15 5G runs just as fast now as it did when brand new. I regularly do maintenance, clearing caches of apps, deep sleeping apps I dont regularly use, clean out memory, keep battery charged up, etc. and check updates regularly. If your phone is slowing down it's probably user error.
