Recover deleted text messages on an A10e?

Can anyone tell me how to recover deleted texts on a Galaxy A10e?

I'm using Samsung Messages, and there are no "trash" or "recycle bin" options in the "3 dot" menu. Choices in that menu are (1) edit (2) starred messages (3) settings.

There are no "trash" or "recycle bin" options in settings, either.
