Receives Voicemail but not when the message was left?

I get my voicemail but it does not include when the message was left for me I don't understand why. Feeling clueless. Advice?

My carrier says it's not a carrier issue, that all voicemail is the same. That doesn't sound right.

Did you even read any of the responses?  Voicemail is a carrier issue, contact your carrier. Also, your issue is unrelated to the original issue, so you should have made your own post.  Don't just attach your comment onto any random post without reading both the question and the answers before you post.
