Purchased a used Galaxy A12 from Amazon and it is locked to the old owner

Help I have bought a used Samsung Galaxy A12 off Amazon and it is "locked to the old owner" and tells me to "log into one of the accounts that belongs to the previous owner" Have not been able to get ahold of the seller to resolve this, so here I am! Help me please.

The phone can either be signed into the seller which seems it is or phone locked to carrier best option return the phone for refund and if needed contact amazon
