I just recently switched from an a12 to an a16, I'm just now realizing that on the lock screen, when you have a notification, if you want to see what it says, you have to put in your pin code and unlock your phone.
This is great and all yaay security and privacy...but I don't want this. Sometimes I'm just trying to quickly see what someone sent to me and if its important or not. Having to put in my pin every single time I want to view something just to turn my phone back off again is a little tedious..
Just pull down from the very top of the screen to pull down your notification shade. You will only have to put the pin in to interact with the notifications.
