New Now Bar cannot be disabled

This Now Bar is intrusive and cannot be disabled on my A14 phone.  Samsung developers/programmers need to learn to give the user an option on their new program upgrades.  By not giving us the option of turning on/off the new upgrades they take away our rights as the owners of the phone to customize it as we want with the available options.  What they might achieve is for some owners to abandon Samsung for other brands.

I am a programmer, and I know better than to force an unwanted change unto the client devices.

With all due respect, while you do own your phone, Samsung and Google own the software on that phone. They can do whatever they want to their software. As far as upates are concerned, as soon as you turn on your phone and toggle on accept, you agree to software updates, and changes to that software . It is in the TOS.

The now bar while not being able to turn it off, you can toggle everything off in the Now Bar settings.

It can be disabled by turning off all the items that will show in the bar. The bar is not active until something triggers it, and with everything off, mothing will trigger it.

Love the I am a "Programmer" part, there is a huge difference between a client contracting for software and an end user!

I guess Samsung will have to go out of business if you go to IPhone

I see a whole bunch of nerdy comments regarding the kind of phone, or who owns the program, but none offering solutions.  I was not expecting much, since those probably come from the same type of child-like people /programmers who decided to force changes to their clients with the attitude of "you take it, and you like it".  I thought Samsung was a respectable corporation, but I am beginning to think differently.

We are not the clients, we are the end users.  If you were really a programmer, you should know the difference.  And, solutions were given on how to turn the bar off.  The bar does not show, if there is nothing to show.  Therefore, if you go into the Now Bar settings and turn off all the  options, you will never see the Now Bar.
