Restoring from backup is an option. What do you mean deleted? Is just the app icon gone from your screen? Or is your phone a total bank, as that's what would happen if all your files were gone. If you just lost the icon from your screen, pull up the app drawer and look for the app (either manually or by search), long press it and select add to home screen and then drag it to the position you want.

Glitches happen. You ate supposed to regularly back up your phone and you are supposed to do it prior to an update. You phone automatically backs up every night.

If you are using the Samsung keyboard, there is no longer a microphone on the keyboard.  You can switch to Google Keyboard (or any other keyboard) and have the microphone on the keyboard.  If you choose to keep using Samsung's keyboard, you must first go to settings/general management/keyboard list and default and turn on "keyboard button on navigation bar".  Then, you can long press the icon on the navigation bar to change it to the microphone, or you can simply tap it and select voice input whenever you need to use it.

If you can't access G-Mail through the G-Mail app, you have either not signed into your Google account on the phone, or you are using a third party mail reader app and you have not set up the app specific password with Google. Googles 2FA for mail readers is to set up a one-time app specific password for that app.  What was the reason you  had no internet connection?  Did you set up your wi-fi with the proper credentials, including the proper security protocol? Was the wi-fi on?  Were you trying to access the internet through your mobile data?  We need more information in order to offer a solution.

Also, please make your own post instead of hijacking an unrelated post.  Had I realized you were not the original poster, I would not have responded.  It is rude to insert your issue into another user's issue.  It becomes confusing and distracting to everyone to see disparate responses to different questions, plus you will get more relevant help, as more people will see your post.
