Go into settings
Click Connections
Click WiFi
Click 3 dots (upper right)
Click Advanced settings
and make sure "Wi-Fi network notifications" is turned on.1755320277002.jpg

If you know the Wi-Fi name, type it in manually

If your router is broadcasting on the 5gHz band and your phone is not capable of using that band, it will not see the network at all.  If you have a dual band router, turn on (or unbridge) the 2.4 gHz band in the router settings and then your phone should see your network.  If your phone is capable of receiving traffic on the 5gHz band, try restarting your router.
