Is this trend of the MicroSD slot being eliminated actually ok with the rest of the community? I'm on the A54 5G still and looking at options to upgrade next year and it doesn't seem like Samsung will be an option.

A Series & Other MobileSamsung regularly gives free storage upgrades as a promotional offer. My current device is a 512GB purchased for the exact same price as the base model. At present, I have ~200GB of available storage on my device.
In the event that I fill that ~200GB, I will move my files to an external drive and start fresh.

A Series & Other MobileI say remove it, since there are better options now with cloud storage. If an SD card goes bad, everything could be lost. With cloud storage, it's safe and has easy access.
