MicroSD slot options for a next upgrade

Is this trend of the MicroSD slot being eliminated actually ok with the rest of the community? I'm on the A54 5G still and looking at options to upgrade next year and it doesn't seem like Samsung will be an option.

Easy access is the problem. I'm just waiting to hear about hacking issues and you can't say it's impossible...

Cloud storage has been in use for many years now. Have you heard of any breaches of users personal files? I'm not talking about breaches of corporate servers.

Apple had a pretty spectacular breach of their icloud service several years ago.

Ok you guys nice need help. My husband's old galaxy A21 just crashed and they sent us a refurbished one that's an A23 UW or something. We swapped the SD card and backed up most all he had plus what was from Verizon. Now I cannot get the apps on the screens right. I have the home screen but in order to get all the rest of the apps you have to scroll up and it shows everything. Plus this shows up on the other pages where I want to put the other apps. This white part wasn't here at first but popped up today and I cannot figure out how to make it go away. It was just showing the usual most opened apps in the bottom green bar. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? He never talks type for searches or anything else. It is wasting space on the page. Please help. Thank you for any help you might have. 🙏
