I just bought a new Samsung A54, and Messages was already installed, so I used it. But I 'm not getting chats or text messages from my friends using Messenger. Do I need to download Messenger and delete Messages? Or is there a fix for this? Also, will I receive SMS messages on this program? I always got both on my previous phone.
Get rid of Facebook. Meta is a huge privacy invasion and their censorship practices are set up to protect toddlers from being offended by anything. It's not for adults.
I know that. But how do I get texts and MSM messages in the Messages app? Nothing is coming through. Everything worked with the Messenger app. Any ideas would be appreciated.
So it's default sms messaging app would be samsungs. I use Googles because all my backups are with Google. You can disable the samsung one and default another of your choice. When you set up your new A54 did you restore a backup from your old phone?
