Issues with registering my phone for promos?

Im having trouble registering my phone for promos. Any tips?

It's my understanding that a device is automatically registered once you sign into your Samsung account on the unit. It may take some time for the registration to be reflected on your account, but it is my understanding that all you have to do is sign in.

Samsung has just removed the ability to register devices on this app, I believe, due to this automation in registration.

Ive had my phone for a year. I still dont have points on my account, even though im signed in. Ah well.

Maybe sign out, then sign back in? Or better yet, go back to the main screen of this app, tap the Support tab, and contact Samsung directly and ask them what to do.

Im always getting surveys and emails for promotions like: "register for $500 giftcard if you complete a survey for your phone." I can never do it because my phone's not registered.

That sounds like a scam for your information. Samsung sometimes offers a chance when you enter a contest but there is never any guarantee.

These are not promos, they are a chance to win $500 from Samsung by reviewing products.
