A Series & Other MobileGoogle Play Services are integral to the functionality of every Google app. Try updating Play Services.
- Go to Settings > Apps
- Search "play"
- Tap on Google Play Services
- Scroll down and tap "App Details in Store"
- Tap the update button if there is one
- Reboot
This *should* kickstart any Google apps that might be misbehaving, including Play System Update.
