How do I get my phone not to show up ad aptovsye number when I call someone?

@mamawarnedyou Try this:

1. Open the Phone app
2. Click the 3 dots in upper right
3. Select settings
4. Click on Supplementary services
5. Click on Show your caller ID and set it to what you want. 

If you don't see Supplementary services, your carrier is blocking that menu item. You would then need to reach out to your carrier about your caller ID issue.
