A Series & Other MobileI'm going to begin with a statement: I believe the problem is related to a glitch in the Samsung software, maybe as a result of a recent update.
The problem is that my phone is no longer recognized by either my desktop PC (Windows 10) or my Laptop (Windows 11). The connection has never failed since I purchased the phone several years ago until about a week ago. When I connect to either PC or Laptop via USB there is NO indication that my phone connected. I have fought this issue for over a week so here is what is NOT the problem.
1. YES, I have changed cables - so don't ask me again!
2. Try a different port. Yep, several.
3. Check the phone connection mode. Yep, File Transfer
4. Unlock your phone. Done
5. Restart PC and phone. Done
6. Turn on USB debug. Done.
7. Check Device Manager. Zero phone indication, no yellow flags, zip, nada.
8. Check drivers for current. All current, both Windows and phone.
9. Is Auto Blocker on? NO
Why do I think it's a Samsung issue? Because the problem happens with two Windows versions and neither detects the fact that the phone is connected USB. So I am left trying to appeal for help from this forum or even somebody from Samsung to help me correct this issue.
Please!!!
