Google autofills passwords in the wrong fields on Samsung phone

Hi, my mom recently got a new Samsung phone to replace her old Motorola. On her old phone she had no issues with Google's password autofill feature. But on her new phone she complains that the passwords aren't filling into the correct fields for most of her apps. Apparently when she clicks the button to fill in the password it fills all available fields with the password or puts it on the username field instead of the password field.

She is using the same apps as she did before, the Google autofill works on her old phone but not on her new one.

Sidenote: I changed from Samsung pass to Google autofill.

I just checked and yes, the service is correctly set to Google.

@PossumKing I haven't tried using Google to fill in passwords. I use 1Password and it works great. Have you checked the Google forums to see if others are having the same issue and maybe have a resolution?

I would suspect another 3rd party app is causing a conflict.
