I have been getting SamsungTTS updates from 5 different countries. There are none installed on my Galaxy A34 G5, app updates set to manually update , but every time I check for updates to app I have installed these are 5 SmsungTTS updates show up. I have check all my app and none of these SamsungTTS files are installed, the only one is SamsungTTS US English Voice 1 app.

What I did to stop the other 5 language samsung  TTS files was to install them, Force Stop, disable then uninstall them. At this time they no longer show up as updates in the App Store.

PS:

Also check the Google play store and they were never install there either.

I do not think this is the correct way to remove unwanted app that I never asked for in the first place.

Thank you for your time,

RonBu1948

There are no languages to delete, just an option to install them, so why are we getting updates for languages that aren't installed?  I do not wish to go through the steps that RonBu1948 did - as he said, this should not be the only way to remove updates that are for apps not installed.

I gave a possible solution. It works for me. And BTW I don't get updates for languages that are not installed. As you see in the screenshot, I only have two language packs installed. All the rest that I don't use were deleted by me.1764592454322.jpg

Fair enough, Pianodude58, sadly it did not work for me and I do have updates for languages not installed. I will contact Samsung support and see what they suggest.

They are saying that there are updates available for those languages even if you don't  have the languages installed.  You do not have to update them if you don't have them installed.  I can see by your list they are not installed on your device.  You haven't downloaded any.  I see updates all the time for apps I don't even have on my phone.  I just ignore them and eventually they disappear.  I never click update all unless I know I have a the apps in question installed.

To check to see if they are indeed on your phone, go to settings, apps , scroll down to the S apps and look for them there. They should if installed on your phone be there, if they are there, go one by one and uninstall them.

Please don't come back with, but I shouldn't have to. Maybe you inadvertently installed them.

These are 2 different things, one are language packs for the keyboard the other one's for Galaxy Ai interpreter.
