Galaxy A55 "settings icon" disappeared and need assistance in restoring it

My A55 Galaxy "settings icon" disappeared and I don't know how to restore it. The only place I find it is in the settings Apps, but it won't go to my home page.

the settings gear will be in your app drawer. If not sorted alphabetically, search for it. When you see it, long press on it and tap "add to home screen". No worries, though, you can always get to the settings by pulling down the notification panel and click the settings wheel there.

Thank you. It is not in my so drawer. I've searched log and hard for out. I can get to my settings. But I want my icon back!!😢

Use the search box - type in "Settings", it should find the app. It cannot be uninstalled so it has to be there.

Have you tried restarting your phone? Clearing the cache from recovery mode?
