Hi everyone,

My friends and I, who all have a Galaxy A54, are facing a serious internet connectivity problem right after installing the latest software update.

  • The Issue: Internet on 4G and 5G is either not working at all or is extremely slow and unusable.

  • Current Status: The only way to get a stable internet connection is by switching the network mode to 3G.

  • When It Started: This problem began immediately after installing the latest software update (e.g., September update).

Has anyone else with a Galaxy A54 experienced this issue? If you have a solution, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated.

The August 1st security update (which came in early September) caused a few issues on my A54, but connectivity or internet speed was not one was not one of them. Do you and your friends all have the same carrier? If so, it may be a carrier issue, and you should try contacting them. You can also try resetting your mobile network.

I am having the same issues with mine and I am seriously doubting that it's a network carrier isolated issue 4 .

It likely may have been caused by the August 1, security update.  I just downloaded the September 1 security update and it solved my issues that started with the August 1st update.  But my issues were not the same as yours.

It could still be a  carrier issue.  You may very well have the same carrier as the OP, since they never answered my question.  For connection issues, your carrier should always be your first call, even if your issue appears to have originated from an update
