I have a Galaxy A32 5G that has started showing news and ad squares/bubbles/icons/notifications, I don't know what to call them, on the lock screen. Once the screen is unlocked they disappear. I don't want to see them at all. How do I make them go away all together?

Thanks for any assistance.

If you have metro by tmobile delete the metro play app to get rid of the news feed. That's what was doing it to me. Smh

Correct way for a Samsung 22:

When on your lock screen click the 3 vertical dots in the top right. Then click "settings" then click disable headlines this should be the very bottom selection.

For my Galaxy S23+ with Verizon, the safe mode disabled almost all my phone apps so it wasn't a permanent fix. I also did not have the Metro app on my phone. It turned out to be a Headlines app (blue icon with 3 horizontal lines) that magically downloaded to my phone. I clicked on it, and it was very easy to disable. No more news tickers on my lock screen

My wife's phone had the same exact issue!   Go to the three vertical dots on the upper right-hand side of the lock screen. Click on "Settings".  Click on "Disable Headlines" (at the bottom of the list).  Click on "I prefer my old lock screen" and then select "Disable." Problem solved!

(Btw this looks like an app---perhaps a Samsung app?--- called "Headlines"--I don't know exactly what it is, but after I disabled it,  I went back to Settings, searched for "Headlines" and was able to uninstall it.)
