Edge panel options Galaxy a14 5g

Last week I had 3 options on the "Tools" edge panel: compass, flashlight and can't remember the 3rd one.

Tonight when I went to turn on the flashlight using the edge panel, the only option is the compass. I tried editing the edge panel, but again, the only option listed is the compass!@#$%!!!!

Press the 3 dots in the upper right corner. They moved things there now.

As @MoniqueO28 said the flashlight is available if you click the 3 dots by the compass.

To my knowledge (I have used that panel before, but no longer do), the option for which tool showed on the panel was always in the dot menu to toggle between (I was only interested in the compass).  However, that being said, if one can slide out the edge panel to turn the flashlight on, it's just as easy to slide down the top of the screen and use the QP toggle.  There are at least 10 ways to easily activate the flashlight.

Now it takes 2 swipes to get to the flashlight, down, then left...not sure why that changed, but that was about 3 weeks ago.

You can move the flash light control to the 6 icons on your quick row,   You can also:

1. put the flashlight control on your lock screen by adding the widget to either corner (Swipe right if on the left corner, swipe left if on the right corner) by editing the lock screen and tapping one of the corners to add it.

2. Create a button action routine (requires Good Lock's Routines+ module) to double tap one of your navigation bar icons (back/home/recents) to turn it on, and long press the same icon to turn it off (you can use the action on the side buttons too, but not if you already have the buttons assigned other actions.

3. You can ask Bixby to turn the flashlight on/off.

4. You can add the magnifier widget to your home screen and the flashlight control  is contained in the widget.

5. You can set the double press on the side button to turn on the flashlight. This requires nothing more than going to settings/advanced settings/side button and choosing the action.

6. Continue to use the edge panel and then tap the dot menu for the flashlight option.

So, you see, there are at least 6 very easy, convenient ways to turn the flashlight on.  Not mention just using the flashlight icon in the quick panel if you don't want to add it to your "quick 6".  I don't see how having to swipe down twice is an inconvenience.

You can put the notification and control panels back together, if that's what you are referring to.  Pull down from the top right until you see the edit pencil.  Tap that and then you will see the panel options, tap that and then select together.  In that same section, you will have the option to change or reorganize your top row of quick icons.  Do your edits, make sure you click "done" to save and exit.
