Mine stays cool too a little warm is okay but if your is getting hot, stop using it, its defective and will cause a fire. Doesn't mean its fake, all electronics eventually have issues, they are designed that way. Weather new or not, your charging block is defective and is a hazard, use at your own risk. ๐๐ป
