I was gonna text 741741 for the Depression Hotline, (we listen and we don't judge tehešŸ˜‹:ribbon:) and it tells me "Messages wants to send a message to 741741, may add charges to your account". I don't know if it's Samsung, my service provider, Google, I don't know. Galaxy A12, up to date with updates.

But does it show on the phone bill? My mom pays for the service provider, and she doesn't like extra fees for unimportant stuff;-;

It's a warning left over from the time that you had to pay for individual texts.

Some people still have plans with a limited amount of texts, but most plans are now unlimited. LongHiker is correct that its a retro warning. They are still required to notify you that charges may be incurred, since they have no way of knowing which type of plan you have. If you know your plan includes unlimited texts, you do not need to worry.

It won't because all T-Mobile plans are unlimited. I assume that extends to Metro. If you are trying to keep it secret, though, if your mother scritinizes the monthly bill, the number will show up (but not the name). The only people I know that look with unlimited plans are suspicious spouses.
