I've tried to put my favorites in alphabetical order on my phone, but I can't. I've tried to do settings, but there's none to do this.
Also for some reason this keyboard double spaces without my doing it. I can't afford a better phone. This is Galaxy a16

[Edit] I think you are clicking About Phone app. That is not what you need to do.

Open your phone's settings. Click on About phone. Click on Software information.

Did you click on "contact settings?" You should be able to sort by first or last name.

Yes but it won't do it with new numbers on Favorites

Try opening your contact app instead of the phone app. I'm assuming your using Google app instead of Samsung. See if you have a button at the bottom saying organize. Then scroll down to Settings. In settings you should be able to organize them. I'm not sure if your phone has this.

Ok. I may have to switch to Samsung app.

@DeDe6 That should resolve it. In your first post you should have mentioned that you are using a non-Samsung app. That would have saved a lot of back and forth.

Hey, I'm sorry. I'm clueless when it comes to phone apps. I can't upgrade my phone until my other old phone is paid off. How do I switch? Do I just go to my Samsung account?

My instructions were for the Google contact app. If that's what you are currently using I'm assuming that didn't work. You should have the Samsung contact app on there too. Open that and click on the 3 dots and click on settings. You can imports contacts into that if you need to. Maybe someone else will be able to help you if this doesn't work.
